In merry ole England

Well, here I am in London. I don't even know where to begin! The whole city is like a big old museum with amazing buildings and famous landmarks around every turn. We have been to the British Library where we saw the oldest exsisting bible and handwritten notes by Leo Tolstoy (among many other amazing documents!), the National Gallery of Art where we stood in front of paintings by the likes of Leonardo Di Vinci and Michelangelo, and the Tate Modern Gallery with works by Wharhol, Miro and Dali. We also visited Westminster Abby where we saw the graves of Queen Elizabeth I, Charles Darwin, Charles Dickens, Issac Newton, Chaucer and tons and tons of random Lord, Ladies, Barons and Knights!! The coolest one was in the cloisters which are the walkways around the courtyard. We sat down for a breather on a stone bench and in the stone floor akwardly arranged and all but forgotten was the weathered grave of a knight who died in 1082.
Being here with Damien is amazing!! We missed each other so much and it was the most beautiful thing in the world to see him waiting for me at the airport! We are staying in a hostel across the street from the British Museum. There are 5 sets of bunkbeds in the room, each with its own locker for our stuff. There were a bunch of Spanish people staying there but I think they are leaving today and will probably be gone when we return tonight. The place is old but comfortable with 1 good shower and 1 bad one and a kitchen downstairs with breakfast every morning of coffee and jelly rolls. The weather is a bit cold but it has cleared up a bit today and isn't so gray.
Food has been great! Had Indian curry first for lunch. We have also found a couple cute typical Englishf pubs for meat pies, fish n chips and English beer. We have been able to stick to our budget really well. We also discovered that we can pretty much walk everywhere and dont need to spend money on the trains. We each spent £5 on all day train passes yesterday and today we realize we didn't even need to get them! Oh well, ya' live and learn. The underground is very very quick and easy to use though. And crossing the street here is an experience! I have never seen people jaywalking and darting all over the place! It is like the lights don't matter AT ALL as long as you can get across before the car or double decker bus hits you!
Well, I am at an internet cafe and my time is running out. Hopefully I will be able to sleep better tonight then I did last night. The air is really dry here and it makes it hard to sleep. Plus one of the Spanish women has cried out clear as a bell in Spanish in her sleep the past 2 nights and woken me up. It certainly hasn't been dull!!
I will try to post some pictures in a few days and post again soon.
"Cheers!"
