Wedding Bells!
Well, I guess I have some big news! Some of y0u may already know this...I am getting married!!! Damien and I will tie the knot on May 12th, this year. I guess the romance of Europe finally caught up with us. It won't be a big ceremony. Actually, we are just going to the courthouse downtown Indy and only our family will be there. Damien's mom is coming from Australia!!! Also, I am really enjoying my job. I am involved with some interesting community events involving Japanese companies and I am getting to meet a lot of Japanese people who live in Indianapolis. Damien is volunteering at my office which is nice. We are also helping my mom to paint and re-do her kitchen. So, life is busy and exciting I guess! The weather is too! We have had lots of storms and tornados recently. There is a tornado warning right now actually. But the weather doesn't look that bad out the window! Not much else right now, just looking forward to spring, my 32nd birthday, getting married and Damien's mom visiting. I still miss Japan every day though, and wish I was back in Hiratsuka! Actually, my co-worker went to University in Fujisawa which is the city where I worked!!! Anyway, just wanted to tell everyone that in less than a month I will be Ana Zekants!!!!!!

Ana! Congratulations to you on everything! You may not remember me but this is Dave from CPK in Alexandria, VA. I was thinking about all of the folks I hung out with 11ish (!) years ago and I discovered your blog. I wish both you and your husband nothing but the best and it's great to see that things are going so well for you. If you guys are ever in the DC area let me know and I'd love to catch up! You can e-mail me at dfn22 (at) aol.com. Also - do you have a photo area in your blog of your artwork? I'd love to see what you've done over the past 11 years.
Cheers!
-Dave
